Derek Riggs put photo of the original art piece of mind

The illustrator Derek Riggs posted on his official Facebook page the pictures of what would have been the first version of the classic album cover Piece of Mind by Iron Maiden.                                    

"These days some friends came to my house for dinner and Michael Kenney brought an   old drawing of mine. It was the first version of the cover of Piece of Mind. Steve Harris spoke who wanted an Eddie image sitting in the corner of a padded cell, really like crazy, so that is what I painted. Then they agreed that the idea was not working, so they left me to do it my way. Have fun "
